Inspired by the talented saxophone players in the EDM world like Big Gigantic, Sodown, Saxsquatch, and Goldfish, I had to do a sax, but I wanted this first one to be based on the especially colorful world of GRiZ.  He hasn’t released any new music lately, and that makes me sad, so this one is loosely based on his Alto Sax.  There will be a tenor painting in the future!

I loved this background so much; it was almost finished before I even added the saxophone.  Quite a challenging instrument to paint!  The bursting colors were so much fun, and flowed so easily.  One thing about music, when it hits, you feel no pain.
